Firm Administrator

Biography

Ms. Stephens, who attended Wingate College, serves as administrator for Hutchens Law Firm. In addition to having worked with the firm for over 10 years, her previous experience includes 20 years as a non-profit administrator.  

Her role is to exhibit and encourage our core values of excellence, client service, integrity, collegiality, and community. She also manages business operations, staffing functions, and facilities management and construction projects for all three offices. She is actively involved in strategic planning for our growth and business development. She manages human resources, which includes staffing, employee relations, benefits, learning management, and career development. In addition, she oversees financial planning, analysis, and controls, as well as collaborates with the IT department in the development of automation in order to ensure the delivery of high quality legal services. 

Professional and Community Affiliations

Ms. Stephens is currently a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and the Association of Legal Administrators. She also has served on the Planning Committee for the National Episcopal Lay Administrators and served as President for the RTP ACS User’s Group.
