Bess Harris Reynolds is an associate attorney with Hutchens Law Firm focusing on residential real estate law at the firm's Charlotte office. In this role, she works closely with lenders, realtors, agents, home buyers, and sellers so that the purchase of real property happens seamlessly.
Bess is actively involved in pro bono work through Hutchens Law Firm, donating her time to Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte, Inc. by providing two closings a month to new homeowners through the organization. Bess also enjoys volunteering at her parish, St. Gabriel Catholic Church through the Forever Young Ministry. An alumnus of Charlotte Catholic High School, she currently serves as a board member of the school's Alumni Association. Bess also serves on the board of her neighborhood’s homeowners association. One of Bess’ favorite quotes is from Andrew Carnegie: “Upon the sacredness of property, civilization itself depends.”
As a native of Charlotte, Bess grew up in the heart of Southpark. When she is not working, she is playing tennis, working on house projects or spending time with her husband Shep, sons Reid and Rett, and basset hound Marcie.
