Jennifer Brown is an associate attorney in our Fayetteville office practicing in the area of creditor's rights - bankruptcy. Prior to joining the Firm, she worked at Legal Aid of North Carolina as a generalist attorney, focusing on housing litigation, mortgage foreclosure defense, consumer law, and representing victims of domestic violence in getting civil protective orders. She also has experience in Workers Compensation. Prior to law school, she served as an intern at the prestigious Kim & Chang law firm in South Korea. Being detailed-oriented, she believes every client relationship begins with excellent customer service.
Born in Seoul, South Korea, Jennifer and her family moved to Fayetteville when she was a child. A graduate of Fayetteville Academy, she studied cello from elementary school through high school at the Duke University String School and was a member of the University String School Chamber Orchestra. She has also played cello for the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra.
Jennifer and her husband, Ian, have an Australian Shepherd mix named Louie whom they love taking hiking with them. In her spare time, she enjoys playing the piano and cello as well as spending time with her parents who reside in Fayetteville. She is fluent in Korean and received language certification from Yonsei University Korean Language Institute [연세대학교] in Seoul in 2012.
