A native of Lumberton, North Carolina in the Southeastern portion of the state, Michael R. Coleman is an Associate Attorney in the firm's Real Estate Department.  Combining past experience in default servicing and creditor rights practice with his current focus on residential real estate matters, Michael is focused on servicing the needs of our clients in the Brunswick and New Hanover County areas with compassion and relevant expertise to help them achieve their home buying dreams.  To Michael, excellence in execution is not just a goal to strive towards, but what our clients should expect and what they deserve.

Michael is heavily involved in pro bono work throughout the area, specifically assisting elderly and disadvantaged members of the community navigate the often complex legal system and solve their problems.  Community involvement means a great deal to Michael as he believes that the partnership between lawyers and the community they serve is a cornerstone in building a bright future for all.  Having spent his adolescence in a rural community where home ownership was a vital step towards realizing success, Michael strives to provide quality service to those seeking to achieve this step towards the American Dream.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys playing golf, sport fishing and spending time with his family.  For Michael family is the most important aspect of life. He makes it a point to devote as much time as possible to enjoying time with them and providing assistance when needed.  He is also an avid reader and student of history, with a particular focus on the late period Roman Republic.
