Teta L. Jackson is an attorney with Hutchens Law Firm practicing in the area of real estate law. She has a passion for real estate and has worked in various areas of the industry since 2001. She began her real estate career as a home investor, transitioned into the mortgage industry and eventually real estate sales as a licensed Realtor. As she progressed in her career, her love for the field of real estate expanded to include the law and its application to parties involved in real estate transactions. After participating in numerous closings and helping many to achieve their goal of homeownership, Teta knew that practicing real estate law would be her next career goal.
In August of 2012, she took the leap and began law school. She graduated from North Carolina Central University School of Law in May of 2015 with a Juris Doctorate degree, and she passed the bar exam that same summer. Having accomplished her goal, Teta is excited to be facilitating real estate closings as an attorney.
A native of New Orleans, LA, she now calls Durham, NC her home. She loves music and has spent many years singing with groups and choirs both nationally and internationally. She facilitates a women's empowerment workshop which is designed to encourage women of all ages to conquer their fears and accomplish their dreams. She says, "If you're breathing, you're living, which means it's not too late to become whatever your heart desires." She loves people and is always seeking an opportunity to serve others.
She joined Hutchens Law Firm in June of 2018 and works in the Ramsey Street location in Fayetteville.
