PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Jennifer Bryan joins Hutchens Law Firm as an associate practicing in the area of real estate law. She is from Bladen County, North Carolina. Prior to obtaining a law degree, Jennifer worked as a legal secretary as well as a paralegal for approximately 10 years for general practice law firms. While working as a legal secretary/paralegal she put herself through undergraduate and graduate school obtaining a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. After obtaining her Master’s Degree she entered public sector working in state and local government. During her time in public sector she wanted to apply to law school, but with two young children and being a single parent law school was beyond her reach. Once her youngest child was in high school she applied to law school and was accepted. She began her law career in civil litigation before transitioning to real estate. Jennifer is passionate about helping others and real estate law.

In Jennifer’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and family. Jennifer also enjoys assisting her local community through grant writing projects and working with Military Spouse JD Network/Justice for Military Families (JMF) through a partnership with the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) to find pro bono or low bono legal advice for Gold Star family members.
