PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
A South Carolina native, Ceasie focuses her practice on financial services litigation by representing banks, lenders, and loan servicers in commercial and consumer foreclosures, commercial and consumer bankruptcies, and various additional creditors’ rights matters in state and federal courts. Ceasie has been a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars on issues related to these practice areas and also has conducted training sessions for lawyers, mortgage servicers, and lenders around the country. She joined Hutchens Law Firm in 2022, bringing with her more than 23 years of legal experience.
Ceasie obtained her undergraduate degree from Columbia College, Columbia, SC with a double-major in piano performance and dance. She says, “I’ve always been told that my background in music, dance, and study of the arts is unique for a lawyer, but I have found that such study fostered sensitivity, attention to detail, discipline, and compassion - all of which I incorporate in my legal practice and community interactions.” Ceasie is the mother of two girls, Bellinger and Mary Louise.
